Andrew Pembrooke has taught PSHE in schools across the country since 2000. His work with Equal Voice centred around creating a safe environment in which learners could express their feelings, resolve conflict and build self-esteem. This approach remains core to Teach SRE’s work today, facilitating RSE sessions that are informative, enjoyable and comfortable to be in.

Andrew worked from 2007 - 2016 as senior trainer with leading RSE resource provider CWP Resources Ltd. Here he trained hundreds of teachers, building confidence and modelling good practice. He also assisted in the writing of the resource Teaching RSE in Primary Schools. Andrew was a trustee of the student led RSE charity Sexpression:UK and now also works for Health Education Partnership

My favourite experiences have been working with teachers who have never taught RSE before, who start out feeling anxious, then realise that it’s not that scary and is actually one of the most valuable lessons that they have had with their class.
