Andrew Pembrooke and Kat Davison have taught PSHE in schools across the country since 2000. Their work with Equal Voice centred around creating a safe environment in which learners could express their feelings, resolve conflict and build self-esteem. This approach remains core to their work today, facilitating SRE sessions that are informative, enjoyable and comfortable to be in.

Andrew and Kat worked from 2007 - 2016 as senior trainers with leading RSE resource provider CWP Resources Ltd. Here they trained hundreds of teachers, building confidence and modelling good practice. They also assisted in the writing of Teaching SRE in Primary Schools and Teaching SRE in Secondary Schools, which were awarded the PSHE association quality mark. Andrew is a trustee of the student led RSE charity Sexpression:UK

My favourite experiences have been working with teachers who have never taught RSE before, who start out feeling anxious, then realise that it’s not that scary and is actually one of the most valuable lessons that they have had with their class.

I love that in such a short time we can help a class of nervous, giggly students discuss all aspects of Relationships and Sex Education with such confidence.
