How schools use this resource

Schools use this resource as a dependable way to plan and deliver high-quality RSE as part of their broader PSHE curriculum. It is particularly valued for the structure and confidence it gives teachers when teaching sensitive or complex content.

The resource is not intended to replace a full PSHE scheme. Schools are expected to use it alongside their wider PSHE provision, adapting delivery to reflect their school context, policies and pupils’ needs.

This resource has been used to support and train thousands of teachers to teach RSE with confidence. Every unit has been taught in a range of primary school settings and refined over time in response to classroom practice, safeguarding expectations and teacher feedback.

Schools continue to value the resource as a practical, inclusive and trustworthy way to deliver RSE with accuracy and care.

Our aim

Our aim is to improve the quality of RSE by increasing teacher confidence in planning and delivery, ensuring that pupils receive clear, age-appropriate and inclusive Relationships and Sex Education.
